How I help researchers and policy teams
Your work has the potential to shift practice, inform policy and make a genuine difference to people’s health. But too often, important insights are read only by those already in the conversation.
But translating findings and policy analysis into something that persuades and moves practitioners, commissioners, patients or the public takes a different kind of thinking – and a different set of tools.
Typical challenges I help researchers and policy teams solve:
- Knowledge translation and mobilisation: turning complex information into accessible, engaging content without losing nuance or credibility
- Tailoring key findings to different audiences, including clinical teams, commissioners, patients and the public
- Deciding which formats – summaries, film, animation, events – will resonate with each audience
- Demonstrating the impact and relevance of work to funders and stakeholders
- Turning data, findings and analysis into compelling human stories that shift mindsets
- Making research and policy feel relevant and useable for frontline practitioners.
How I help
I work with research and policy teams to understand what different audiences need from their findings – not just the data but the framing and voice that spark trust, engagement and action.
Through audience insight, knowledge translation and content development, I create summaries, guides, films, animations and other formats that make work accessible and persuasive.
I support patient and public involvement and help teams develop communication strategies that reach the right people at the right time.
