I’m particularly interested in how communication drives change – shaping how people think, feel and act – and helping teams use storytelling and behavioural insight to embed new ideas in practice.

I’ve spent more than two decades working in healthcare communications, including a decade at The King’s Fund, collaborating with providers and commissioners, clinicians, health tech companies, charities, universities, government bodies and think tanks to reach the audiences that matter.

I began my career focusing on the fundamentals of good health communication – accuracy, clarity and accessibility.

Over the years, my anthropology background kept surfacing – revealing connections in how people create and share meaning, and how that shapes their engagement and response.

Words, tone and framing aren’t just surface details – they’re often the missing link that determines whether innovation and transformation truly take hold. Understanding that human layer is what turns good ideas into lasting change.

That understanding shapes how I work today – combining storytelling, behavioural science and strategy to help organisations shift mindsets and drive action.
