Hi, I’m Eleanor, a communication and engagement consultant and coach helping people and organisations across health and social change.
Communication is my specialism, but always as a means to an end. The ultimate goal is impact: helping people think, feel or act differently.
People reach out to me when things feel stuck – when the usual approaches aren’t working, the challenge is too complex to unpick alone, or they simply need a safe pair of hands to outsource to.
My starting point is listening. Together, we uncover what’s really going on: for you, the people around you, and the people you need to reach. Everything I do – from insight and strategy to content, coproduction and coaching – is built on that foundation.
I’m currently writing a book for Routledge about how to engage people and build trust in and around healthcare.
Why good ideas stop short
Too often, when something isn’t working – people aren’t engaging, a project isn’t landing, or a good idea isn’t getting traction – the instinct is to do more of the same: more information, more effort, more pushing. But if the approach is built on assumptions rather than real understanding, more won’t fix it.
That shift – from assumption to curiosity – is where I come in: sense-checking, reframing and helping you shape a more informed approach.
