I’m Eleanor, communication coach and consultant. I help people and organisations to think things through, make sense of complex ideas, understand what matters to the people they need to reach, and communicate for change.
The way we work has changed. As AI makes some tasks easier, the human side – understanding people, building trust and exercising judgement – has become more important than ever.
People bring me in when they need a sounding board, specialist expertise, someone to deliver a project or workshop, or support to build their own clarify, confidence and capability.
My starting point is listening. Together, we uncover what’s really going on: for you, for those around you, and for the people you need to reach. Everything I do – from insight and strategic advice to coaching, workshops and creative projects – is built on that foundation.
I’m currently writing a book for Routledge about how to engage people and build trust in and around healthcare.
Why good ideas stop short
Often, when something isn’t working – people aren’t engaging, a good idea isn’t getting through or we simply feel stuck – the most useful thing we can do is question what we think we know.
I help you take an insight-led approach: exploring, sense-checking and reframing, to shape a strategy that fits the context and the people involved.
