I’m Eleanor, a communication and engagement consultant and coach helping people and organisations across health and social change.
The way we work has changed. As AI makes some tasks easier, the human side – understanding people, building trust and exercising judgement – has become more important than ever.
Organisations reach out to me when they need trusted support, whether they need a sounding board, specialist expertise, someone to deliver a project, or someone to develop the confidence and capability of their teams.
My starting point is listening. Together, we uncover what’s really going on: for you, for those around you, and for the people you need to reach. Everything I do – from insight and strategy to content, co-production and coaching – is built on that foundation.
I’m currently writing a book for Routledge about how to engage people and build trust in and around healthcare.
Why good ideas stop short
Often, when something isn’t working – people aren’t engaging, a good idea isn’t getting through or things seem stuck – the instinct is to push harder. But if the approach is built on assumptions rather than real understanding, more of the same won’t fix things.
I help clients move from assumptions to insight: exploring, sense-checking and reframing, to shape an approach tailored to the unique context and the people involved.
