A selection of recent projects showing how deep listening, strategic thinking and genuine collaboration produce communication that builds trust and leads to action.
Each project is different – a film, a research guide, a national strategy, an impact report – but the approach is always insight led, starting by understanding the people you need to reach before deciding what to say or how to say it.

Coproduced film designed to increase attendance at diabetic eye health clinics, developed with clinicians at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust alongside patients. Very early research findings indicated a 20% increase in booking rates.
Report sharing impact of a culture change programme at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust. Working closely with the NHS England transformation team, I used messaging, interviews, narrative and visuals to share successes and learning.
Stroke Association guide developed alongside clinicians and parents to support parents through the early days after child stroke. Shortlisted for the 2025 Charity Comms Inspiring Communicator Award (best freelancer and charity collaboration)
NHS England brought me in to work alongside policy and clinical leads, to develop a national strategy document with a difference – engaging, accessible and human in tone – to appeal to people across the NHS workforce at every level.
I worked closely with Prof Jill Maben OBE and her research team at the University of Surrey’s School of Health Sciences to share findings of a suite of studies with multiple audiences with guides, animations, films and visuals.
The first impact report for NHS InSites innovation network, shaping tone of voice, infographics and storytelling to bring complex systems and structures to life. Informed learning on how innovation networks communicate and share impact.
