How I work with clinicians
You’ve developed expertise, insights or an initiative that could genuinely improve practice or patient outcomes. The clinical thinking is solid. But getting it to land with the right people is a different kind of challenge entirely.
Typical challenges I help clinicians solve:
- Reaching patients with information that builds trust and leads to action, not just awareness
- Making sure quality improvement insights resonate with colleagues, commissioners and others
- Bridging the gap between clinical language and the words different audiences understand and respond to
- Gathering insight from patients, including those seldom heard, to shape services
- Co-producing content with patients and families in a way that is meaningful, ethical and shifts behaviours
- Making the case for resources or change to decision-makers
- Developing your professional identity and building a credible, confident presence on social media, events and beyond.
What I do
First, I listen – to you, but often to your patients or colleagues too – to understand what genuinely matters before shaping a message or piece of content.
Through qualitative interviewing, co-production and behavioural insight, I develop content that connects clinical priorities with what patients and communities actually find meaningful.
That might mean a film, a guide, a toolkit or a strategy – and it often includes mentoring support for clinicians and teams throughout the process.
If you’re developing your professional profile, I’ll work with you one-to-one. I combine accredited leadership coaching with communication techniques to help you articulate what you stand for professionally and build an authentic, more visible presence in your field.
The result is communication that earns trust, supports informed decision-making and leads to the outcomes that matter.
“When we contacted Eleanor with a rough framework of an idea, we had no idea of how to put it all together. Eleanor facilitated and helped us through a series of complex thought processes to create an incredibly powerful piece of work. The final film conveyed all our key messages while putting the patients’ voice – and their experience – at the forefront.”

“In the past, I’ve paid a lot of money for a communications expert, and frankly it was a waste of time. Eleanor’s coaching was completely different. She helped me develop a plan completely tailored to my values, priorities and time limitations. Now I’m feeling on top of things – and I’m enjoying writing again.”
