What this notice covers

This privacy notice explains how I collect, use, and protect your personal data, and the rights you have under UK data protection law.

What personal data I collect

I may collect:

  • Name and contact details (email address, phone number, postal address)
  • Job title and organisation (if relevant)
  • Payment and billing information (when booking paid services)
  • Information you choose to share with me in emails, forms or during sessions
  • Responses to quizzes or scorecards
  • Information shared during insight or consultancy work (eg interviews, stories), always gathered for a specific commissioned project and used in line with that project’s consent process
  • Notes from coaching sessions, anonymised and kept for my own reference only

How I collect your data

  • When you contact me directly (by email, phone, post, or in person)
  • When you sign up for my newsletter or updates
  • When you complete a quiz or assessment
  • When you book onto a programme or event
  • When you connect with me on social media

Why I collect and use your data

I use your personal data to:

  • Provide coaching, consultancy, or programme services you’ve requested
  • Manage bookings, payments, and programme participation
  • Send you resources, updates, and marketing (only if you’ve opted in)
  • Respond to enquiries and provide customer support
  • Keep records as required by law (eg tax purposes)

Legal basis for processing your data

I rely on one or more of the following lawful bases:

  • Contract: To deliver the services you’ve booked or requested
  • Consent: When you’ve opted in to receive marketing or newsletters
  • Legitimate interests: To follow up on an enquiry or maintain a professional relationship
  • Legal obligation: For record-keeping and compliance

How I store and protect your data

  • Stored securely on password-protected devices and secure cloud services
  • Access is limited to me
  • Data is deleted or anonymised when it’s no longer needed for the purposes collected, except for email correspondence (see below)

How long I keep your data

  • Emails and correspondence: I keep these indefinitely so I can respond if you contact me in the future.
  • Contact details: As long as we have an ongoing relationship or until you ask me to delete them.
  • ScoreApp and newsletter sign-up data: Until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Who I share your data with

I don’t sell your data. I may share it with trusted service providers who process it on my behalf, such as:

  • Mailchimp (for newsletters) – Mailchimp Privacy Policy
  • ScoreApp (for quizzes and scorecards) – ScoreApp Privacy Policy
  • Payment providers (eg Stripe or PayPal)
    These providers are GDPR-compliant and only process data in line with my instructions.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data I hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Restrict or object to how your data is processed
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent for marketing at any time
