One-to-one support
Managing heavy workloads, navigating conflict, establishing your leadership style or surviving public speaking… Coaching provides the structure, space and depth to reframe, spot patterns, unpick tensions and chart your progress. I offer confidential, personalised support using established coaching approaches, shaped around what works for you.
What this often involves:
- Measurable outcomes – each individual brings their own, unique goals to our sessions. But as an example, over a three-month coaching programme many clients see their confidence increase from around 3/10 to 8/10.
- Leadership communication coaching – developing a clear, confident narrative for organisational change
- Communication skills – writing, public speaking and presenting with confidence
- Professional profile and presence – articulating what you stand for and building a visible, authentic voice in your field
- Role navigation – support in exploring and managing new, complex or ambiguous positions or future directions
- Leadership identity – establishing a values-based, authentic approach to your role that draws on your natural strengths and examines common assumptions
- Team member development – working with managers to identify goals and commission coaching support for staff at any career stage
- Confidential check-ins – ad hoc thinking-partner conversations for senior professionals working through communication challenges
- Emotional wellbeing and neurodivergence – support with practical strategies around managing time, energy and social interactions as well as anxiety, identity and moral injury

How I help
I work one-to-one with clinicians, researchers, academics, charity leaders and others who want to communicate more clearly, lead more confidently, or think through something practically or emotionally complex.
Goals are as varied as the people I work with, but often include increasing confidence, shaping a strong professional profile, clarifying one’s leadership identity or navigating complex workplace relationships.
I have particular experience working with clinicians navigating the transition into leadership, and with researchers and academics building a more visible public profile.
I’m an accredited Institute of Leadership and Management Level 7 coach and mentor, and I combine this with 20+ years of communications experience and my background in anthropology and behavioural insight.
The conversations feel exploratory and relaxed but underpinned by a rigorous methodology, designed to help you get unstuck and achieve tangible change.
“In the past, I’ve paid a lot of money for a communications expert, and frankly it was a waste of time. Eleanor’s coaching was completely different. She helped me develop a plan completely tailored to my values, priorities and time limitations. Now I’m feeling on top of things – and I’m enjoying writing again.”
