A selection of tools to tackle complex problems
From insight and strategy to filming, writing and coaching, I offer multiple techniques, bringing on board associates when needed. That means each project has its own, tailored plan shaped around the best approach for the desired outcomes:
Acting as a trusted partner
- Advising on project planning, developing strategies, goals and frameworks and moving through to completion
- Mentoring through practical elements and emotional barriers in specific communications projects
- Coaching to produce a shift at points of ‘stuckness’ in work and beyond
Understanding audiences
- Gathering insights from people with lived experience, including in depth interviews, focus groups, ethnography or observation
- Research with stakeholders, clients and staff teams, including background interviews and desk research.
- Overseeing co-production programmes and review processes.
Sharing insights and recommendations
- Auditing existing content and processes for audience fit
- Reporting on insights
- Proposing practical options tailored to budget and timescales
Developing content
- Facilitating at the ideation stage to develop briefs and proposals
- Filmmaking including scripting, filming, editing and sign-off, working alongside technical associates
- Creating print and digital content including writing, editing, project management on materials ranging from websites and reports to patient content and self-management tools.
